ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT OF GOVERNMENT MEDICAL AND DENTAL COLLEGES

Government Medical and Dental Institutions of the Punjab Session 2010-11

Applications are invited on prescribed Admission Forms, from candidates having Domicile (No other certificate is acceptable) of any district of Punjab or Federal Capital Area (Islamabad), for admission to Government Medical and Dental Colleges of the Punjab.   WHO CAN APPLY For admission against Open Merit seats, those candidates having an aggregate score of 75% or above marks can apply. The aforementioned condition is not applicable to candidates seeking admission against any category of reserved seats who can apply if they fulfill all other conditions laid down in the regulations available on UHS website.     HOW TO APPLY Entrance Test result card. FSc (Pre-Medical or Equivalent examination) certificate. Matriculation (SSC or Equivalent) Certificate. Birth Certificate, if date of birth is not mentioned on Matric Certificate. Domicile certificate of the candidate (No other certificate in acceptable). Character certificate from the institute last attended. Hifz-e-Quran certificate from a registered Madrassa if the candidate claims to be a Hafiz-e-Quran. Disability certificate for disabled candidates. CNIC of father / guardian. Original affidavit (Appendix-II of Admission Form) on judicial stamp paper of Rs.20/- duly attested by Judicial Magistrate. Original Fitness Certificate, issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner/Government Medical Officer Four passport size coloured photographs. One to be pasted on the admission form and other three, attested on the back, to be attached with the form.     Prospectus and Admission Forms will be available, free of cost, at University of Health Sciences, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, Lahore from October 25th to 31st, 2010,(including Sunday) from 08:30 am to 04:00 pm. Duly filled admission forms for Open Merit Seats as well as Reserved Seats (Under-Developed Districts and Disabled students) may be submitted by hand at University of Health Sciences from November 1st to 7th, 2010, (including Sunday) from 08:30 am to 04:00 pm. Admission forms received by post shall not be entertained. The candidates must attach with the admission form, three (03) sets of photocopies of following certificates and documents, in the following order, attested by a gazetted government officer. (The stamp of the officer must bear his/her full name, designation and current place of duty):   The candidates shall give their preference for medical and dental colleges in one single admission form which once given shall be final and cannot be changed subsequently. One candidate can only submit one form. Forms once submitted shall not be returned. Incomplete or unsigned admission forms will be rejected.   ADMISSION SCHEDULE i Availability of Prospectus & Admission Forms 25th to 31st October, 2010 ii Submission of Admission Forms for Open Merit and Reserved seats (Under-Developed Districts and Disabled candidates 1st to 7th November, 2010 iii Test of Huffaz-e-Quran 9th to 13th November, 2010 iv Medical Board for Disabled Candidates 22nd to 24th November, 2010 v First Selection List of Open Merit MBBS & BDS seats as well as List of candidates admitted on reserved seats (Under-Developed Districts and Disabled Candidates) 30th November, 2010 vi Submission of dues by 11th December, 2010 vii Commencement of classes 20th December, 2010   IMPORTANT The candidate shall have to bring attested copies of the following documents in order to get Prospectus and Admission Form: Matriculation or Equivalent Certificate FSc or Equivalent Certificate Entrance Test Result Card Domicile Certificate of the candidate Medical Certificate in case of disabled candidates Hifz-e-Quran Certificate if candidate claims to be a Hafiz-e-Quran No admission form will be accepted after 04:00 pm on November 07, 2010. Once the admission form is submitted, no other document (e.g., revised marks certificate, domicile certificate, etc) shall be acceptable. Any candidate found to have domicile of more than one place shall be disqualified. Any candidate found to have submitted forged certificates or fake documents with the admission form shall be permanently debarred from admission to any medical/dental college.

I love rankings, what can I say. After I published the “Top Ranked 25 Blogs”  list I thought that someone would replicate it for the SEO sphere. But no one did, so here we go again.

This list was made using pretty much the same algorithm (only small modifications were made, mainly due to the fact that SEO blogs are more popular).
